Barcelona: Argentina's superster footballer Lionel Messi's father is negociating his son's transfer from spanish champions FC Barcelona to French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), according to Report

Jorge Messi is maintaining a dialogue with Paris Saint-Germain Director of football and former Barcelona player Patrick Kluivert regarding a possible move of his son, French media RTL reported on Tuesday citing sources, reports Sputnik.

The striker's current contract at Barcelona ends on June 30, 2018.

Last month, Barcelona media reported that the Argentine forward isn't keen to renew his contract.

Messi, 29, joined Barcelona when he was 13.

Victor Moses celebrated his impressive display and Chelsea’s Premier League victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday with Nigerian music star Davido, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United star, Rio Ferdinand, has showered encomiums on Moses following the Nigerian’s superb display in Chelsea’s 2-1 Premier League home win against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The 25-year-old scored the winning goal as the Blues rallied from a goal down to win the contest, ending Spurs’ unbeaten run in the process.
The former Wigan Athletic player was voted man of the match for his dazzling display, his second award in consecutive games for Antonio Conte’s men.
Ex-England centre- back Ferdinand was gushing with praise for the Super Eagles winger after the match.
“All young lads watching the game should be admiring this player (Moses),” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“He ran 60 to 70 yards to get on the back post as a wing-back and he got his reward. It’s a fantastic effort.”
The win lifted Chelsea back to the top of the Premier League and one point ahead of second placed Liverpool.

A source told People that the reality star, 35, was with her husband, 39, for several hours on Thursday.

Kanye was rushed to UCLA Medical Center following a reported breakdown on Monday.

Following her visit, Kim then headed to her sister Kylie Jenner's home in Calabasas, where her family are celebrating the holiday, adds the website.

Kanye, the source adds, is expected to spend the next few days recovering at the hospital.

Apple admits the iPhone 6 Plus has 'Touch Disease'

Apple has admitted that the iPhone 6 has “Touch Disease”, a glitch that leaves the handset's touch screen inoperable.

The problem surfaced in August when repair site iFixit diagnosed a problem with controller chips that lost electrical contact with the phablet's motherboard.

Apple, as is its wont, remained silent … until Thursday US time when a Multi-Touch Repair Program for iPhone 6 Plus page appeared on its site.

“Apple has determined that some iPhone 6 Plus devices may exhibit display flickering or Multi-Touch issues after being dropped multiple times on a hard surface and then incurring further stress on the device,” the page reads, before outlining a repair program.

For US$149, Apple will fix the device provided the phone “is in working order, and the screen is not cracked or broken”. That's the same price as a new screen, but rather less than the $329 charged for out of warranty services.

For owners who have already paid for repairs, Apple will refund the difference between the price of that service and the $149 deal offered under this program.

Apple's copping a fair bit of criticism at the moment for not offering innovative new products. Its Watch has mostly tanked and the new MacBook Pro and its Touch Bar represents a rather smaller step forward than Microsoft's touchy Surface Studio workstation.

A woman who admitted having sex with a dog will await her sentencing behind bars.

Jenna Driscoll, pictured in 2014, admitted having sex with a dog

Jenna Louis Driscoll, 27, pleaded guilty to bestiality and three drugs-related charges in Brisbane District Court in August.

The sentencing for her offences was reserved, with the judge saying the acts of bestiality were ‘repulsive’ and ‘against the order of nature’.

The charges arose after police discovered disturbing video of Driscoll performing the obscene act while they were investigating unrelated allegations back in 2014.

During her court appearance in October 2014 she arrived accompanied by an unnamed man and a dog, believed to be a pitbull terrier.

Defence lawyer James Godbolt said Driscoll had sex with the dog at the request of her former partner and had been publically shamed.

Rohr Confirms Positive Talks With Father Of Chelsea Defender Aina & Russian Nigerian Idowu Over Playing For Nigeria

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has opened up a line of discussion with the duo of Anglo Nigerian Ola Aina and Russian Nigerian Brian Idowu over playing for Nigeria.

The duo are both full backs born abroad with Idowu eligible to represent Russia while Aina is already a full youth international with England after playing for them at different age levels.

However Rohr who is keen on bolstering the options of the Super Eagles in the full back positions says he has held talks with the duo, and will travel to see them later to conclude talks.

This is how much cell damage smoking a pack of cigarettes causes

Smoking a pack of cigarettes a day causes an average of 150 mutations a year in lung cells, according to a new study that identifies specific ways smoke exposure damages DNA.

The research, published in the journal Science, analyses and compares tumours, providing the first accurate measure of the devastating genetic damage smoking inflicts not only in lungs but also in other organs not directly exposed to smoke.
Although it was previously known that smoking contributes to at least 17 types of human cancers, it had remained unclear exactly how cigarettes caused tumours, according to the researchers from Britain’s Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the United States.
Although they saw the largest number of genetic mutations in lung tissue, other parts of the body also displayed changes in DNA, helping explain how smoking causes various types of cancer.
Cigarettes contain more than 7,000 different chemicals, of which 70 are known to be carcinogenic, the researchers said, pointing to the complexity of how smoke interacts with the body.

This study offers fresh insights into how tobacco smoke causes cancer,” said Ludmil Alexandrov of the Los Alamos National Laboratory, one of the study’s main co-authors.

“Before now, we had a large body of epidemiological evidence linking smoking with cancer, but now we can actually observe and quantify the molecular changes in the DNA due to cigarette smoking,” he added.
“With this study, we have found that people who smoke a pack a day develop an average of 150 extra mutations in their lungs every year, which explains why smokers have such a higher risk of developing lung cancer.”
In the first comprehensive analysis of the DNA of cancers linked to smoking, the scientists studied more than 5,000 tumours, comparing smokers’ cancers with those of people who had never smoked.
They found specific molecular features of damage in the smokers’ DNA, determined by the number of those mutations in different tumours.
More than 6 million deaths a year
Although the number of mutations within cancer cells varies between people, the new study identifies the additional “mutational load” tobacco smoking causes.

The star of the Rush Hour trilogy, Chan received an honorary Oscar at the Governor Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles. The ceremony sees prolific screen legends from both in front and behind the camera honoured for their lifetime contributions to cinema.

In an emotional speech, Chan thanked the Academy and recalled how his son had always wondered why he had not won one previously, citing how he mostly made action-comedies as the reason why.

He also shouted out to Sylvester Stallone in the audience, saying how he once kissed one of his award statues while visiting his house.
"After 56 years [in the] film industry, making over 200 films, breaking so many bones, finally this is mine."

Veteran MP for Ilford South, Mike Gapes, was downcast about the election result, believing Mr Trump, who he also criticised for not believing in global warming, now posed a significant threat to peace in Europe.

Champion of middle America, Donald Trump threw out the political rulebook to first win his party’s nomination, and then go on to shatter Hillary Clinton’s dreams of following her husband into the White House. The glass ceiling remains firmly in place, and now it’s time for America’s flashiest builder to add a supporting southern wall.

America and the world are in shock as the pollsters failed to poll and model this election accurately. There will be much soul-searching in America now about the country’s reluctance to elect a woman to be president. It is staggering, but undeniably true that Donald Trump could not have won this election without Russia’s help. The Cold War may be over, but Russia’s involvement in US politics has now changed the course of America’s history.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign struggled to cope with the waves of revelations in the emails leaked by hackers in an election which saw Clinton unable to shake off scandal. Somehow Trump retained a Teflon-like quality, while Clinton fought fires arising from hacks to email accounts that 17 separate intelligence agencies blame on Russia. How much did the rolling coverage of the FBI’s investigation kill off enthusiasm for Clinton among Democratic voters?

Rihanna is reportedly furious with Drake after he shared a photo of himself along with Taylor Swift from his 30th birthday party. The One Dance hit-maker and the Blank Space singer ignited romance rumours after they were spotted getting cosy at Drake's birthday bash held at Delilah restaurant in West Hollywood on 23 October.

The photo shared on Instagram shows the duo having a conversation with their backs to the camera. "Is that velvet?" Drake captioned the image.

A 54-year-old man has been charged for allegedly throwing his glass-eye at a doctor on a visit to a hospital with police.
The 54-year-old man called Edward Michael Dorsey was with the police when he reportedly removed his left glass-eye and threw it across the room at the medical staff who were trying to evaluate him at a medical centre in Largo, Florida.
According to WTSP television station Edward had been waiting in the emergency room and was politely asked not to play with his false organ.
