John Terry offers thoughts on Instagram about that red card
He doesn’t agree
Chelsea captain John Terry saw red during their FA Cup tie with Peterborough, and while manager Antonio Conte made
it clear he felt Terry had played well, and did not deserve to be sent
off, the player himself waited for a while after the game before
speaking out.
The he took to Instagram to offer his thoughts and congratulations to
the players who scored during the game, and also to defender Kurt Zouma
for playing after such a long time out.
The club will appeal
Terry himself had been injured and out of the side, and has spent the
last 11 games on the sidelines – and will be sat in the stands again
unless his appeal is successful.Terry posted on his Instagram account to
confirm he hopes the FA will have another look at the incident, and
seems to feel he was hard done by – as he didn’t touch the Peterborough
player in question.
